I have a KSU grad buddy who has decided he is going to Lubbock on Saturday to watch the game. He should be arriving around 1 or 2 PM and has never been to Lubbock so I am trying to give him the most important things to see/do before the game. I told him he absolutely must make a visit to Chimy's and get a Marg and/or Dr. Pepper shootout. Also told him to smuggle in a tortilla for kickoff. What other bars should I recommend him to checkout? I told him if he arrived at 1 he could maybe check out Little Woodrows as they have nothing like that up here in Manhattan, but I am not sure what other bars are must hit for the first time in LBK other than Chimy's.
