I am wanting to upgrade my truck (2019 ram bighorn) sound system to better aftermarket speakers. I have a feeling a Car Toys, etc. is going to try and upsell me on an amp too. I am just a 41 year old that wants better sound quality than than the stock crap that's in it now, I don't want subs or anything like that for lots of bass. My question is, will I actually need an amp to achieve that better sound quality or will simply adding in the aftermarket door speakers do the trick? Any suggestions of places to go to in north Dallas that won't rip me off? I am in McKinney. TIA
