I just randomly thought of a band from the '90s I heard all the time on KTXT but hadn't thought of in years and in googling them, stumbled on this documentary. Turns out it was created by a guy at KTXT (Michael Millard) when I was in school and looks pretty interesting.
Not sure how it is these days, but we were truly lucky to have such a great radio station at Tech back in the day. We had the OG Edge in DFW growing up, but even they didn't play near the diversity of music as KTXT and that, plus the wacky music manager at the Memphis Place Mall Hastings, really broadened my musical sensibilities. It's funny to think of all the obscure stuff I'm still into that I discovered in Lubbock.
Anyway, cool story. Will check this out when I get a chance.
