MLB holds first draft lottery today at the Winter Meetings

To determine the first 6 draft teams.............

I know this is the way sports are going, I'm not a fan.............I don't like the idea the team with the worst record could end up with the 6th pick............are Americans so starved for lotteries that convenience stores can't fulfill the hunger ?
