How did you get this one done?

"Ultimately, the belief of these guys in the way we play the game. We weren't great, actually really bad in the first half. We were good the first 8 minutes of the game when we got that lead, 17-9. It felt like we had three possessions going away from the basket and you just don't get rewarded in the Big 12 going away from the basket. A lateral play, shot that's going away from the basket just doesn't help you with guys open. The environment on the road is something you've got to learn to embrace. What you may get as a good shot at home may be a bad shot on the road, it led to them having confidence. Our defense was good early and deteriorated because of our lack of scoring. That's what I thought started it, too many possessions that we're empty with not enough physicality. Give us credit, at halftime there was a reset. We just had a gritty way to do it, find a way to get enough stops and make them do what we wanted them to do, and they made some hard shots. We had the right guys shooting for the most part, but those transition baskets really opened the game up for us and we made the free throws when it mattered. They were getting to the line way more than us until the end of the game."

On McMillian:

"Well he turned down three in the first half were good looks. I think the thing about him is that he's a phenomenal teammate and he's learned to be a great defender. He's made such an effort on defense. His on ball defense in the second half, you're talking about his offense, that was unbelievable but Uzan's offense, he started guarding him so it gave us the opportunity to get Pop off the ball and he gave us such a lift there. When he's aggressive and thinks score, he's phenomenal. I thought early in the game he was trying to make the right play and we told him to turn it loose when he's open. These guys were telling him that he's got to shoot the ball and he said it was on him, I just love the ownership and willingness to get better over the course of the game."
