From what I can glean on the official TTU website, our top six players (starters + McMillon) have accounted for 93% of the team’s minutes in conference play. Essentially, we have 6 guys averaging 32 mpg or more.
Checking out the other conference teams, no other team has that many players logging 32+ mpg. Only KSU is close (they have 5).
Is there any data available that might show how our top 6 usage rate compares to teams across D1? And what do you think the repercussions will be as the season wears on?
