This is not a major concern but think its worth discussing. The KU game will not be a sell out. Its currently on track to have more tickets outstanding (no butts in seats) than BYU, Cincy, UCF. The primary reason is ticket office greed and not reacting quickly enough to lower prices some. They finally lowered GA down to $50 but there are way too many $90 upper level tickets available. Lower the damn price and make sure we give the team the best chance to win. We are talking about a 95% full arena vs a 100% full arena but lets stop shooting ourselves in the foot for no reason.
Ticket prices on 3rd party resale sites are also too high for a game 2 days away on a week day. People feel like they are selling gold but there are not enough buyers. I'll be surprised if prices on Stubhub/Seatgeek don't continue to tank.
Summary: get butts in seats. lower the price some and stop being greedy.
