I don't know what's going to happen with Shough, but overall I have always wondered why teams are so reluctant to try different QBs when things are not going well. We yank pitchers left and right, we swap linemen on both sides of the ball, in basketball if you goof it a couple times you ride some pine. Every team has multiple QBs on scholarship, so what gives?

Also what happened after the first two drives? Red Raiders made it look easy, like I thought they would, then they just spun in neutral the rest of the long, long, LONG night. If this was a basketball game I would say the players thought the game was over and were sleepwalking the rest of the way.

Football is hard. Lose once and it's an uphill climb the rest of the season. Does Texas Tech have to win out now to get to the playoffs? Maybe. Looks like a tall order.
