Washington State transfer center Dishon Jackson, listed at 6-foot-10, 250 pounds, will be taking an official visit this weekend. He committed to Charlotte back in April but got back in the portal earlier this week.
As a freshman in 2020/21 Jackson was named to the Pac-12 All-Freshman Honorable Mention team after averaging 7.2 points and 4.3 rebounds in 20.4 minutes per game.
As a sophomore in 2021/22 Jackson averaged 6.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.
This past season Jackson sat out due to a medical issue, similar to what Keyontae Johnson of Florida/Kansas State went through.
Jackson could potentially have 3 years of eligibility remaining at his next school of choice.
One last note, Grant McCasland actually coached Jackson during training camp for USA Basketball Men's U19 World Cup Team in 2021. They practiced at TCU for a week and McCasland was one of three college coaches selected to help coach the team.
