Well, this team’s offensive output through three games has not been very good, whatsoever. Shots aren’t falling, and you weren’t even getting great looks in the second half.

Some quick thoughts…

-I don’t know what it is with this team and why they’ve been so inept from beyond the arc to start the season. It is extremely frustrating, in all honesty.

-Warren Washington is such a bigger part of this team than I even thought. His ability to create open looks, score and defend are some of the best on the team. Compounding that with the lack of any competency behind him, it is beyond important for him to stay healthy and be ready to play 30-plus minutes nightly.

-During the stretch when Washington was hurt, the offense was really disjointed, seems like a ton of the sets are run through the big man and without him, it looked lost. Excellent night from the seven footer, need him as healthy as possible.

-I thought Chance McMillian played solid defense throughout the night. I also liked the job that Darrion Williams did from a rebounding standpoint.

-McMillian also had a solid night offensively, definitely the best on the team. Nothing spectacular but it was nice to see him post a quality night on that end of the floor and take a step in the right direction.

-Tech got to the line more than enough tonight but didn’t knock down the free throws like they should’ve. Would’ve helped but this game away but that was something they couldn’t do all night long.

-It all circles back to the fact that there isn’t a go-to scorer on this team. Turnovers are continuing to be an issue and there hasn't been any real consistency on that end.

-This team has a ton to clean up in the week they have before facing a really solid Villanova squad. A ton to clean up before a tough Big 12 slate. We’ll see how they fare in the Bahamas over Thanksgiving.
