Awful night. Just uber-frustrating. Nightmare loss for the Red Raiders.
-Couldn’t slow down their bigs, not just Burns, as Middlebrooks was ridiculous off the bench. Extremely tough, absolutely zero answer down low. We feared it was the case, and it was.
-Pop’s night was who has been all year, one of the most inefficient players in the nation, and the moments that you want from him just didn’t ever come.
-Chance and Kerwin were disappointing. Desperately needed that spark off the bench and it just didn’t come, at least until Kerwin hit that three late, too little, too late.
-Tech got out of the flow of the offense and frankly it wasn’t great throughout. Got punked.
-Thought Toussaint had a nice start. Him shooting the amount that he did from beyond the arc was frustrating. Really struggled in the second half after a nice start.
-Season is over. Hopefully Tech and the staff can build a roster that helps this time next year.
