That was a pretty rough one for Tech, especially from a shooting perspective but they were able to survive.
-Tech couldn’t shoot the ball today and Kansas State shot the lights out, pretty much summed it up on a macro level.
-I thought Tech was pretty strong defensively but could not guard the perimeter today and with K-State able to get consistent looks, you get a 20-0 run to end the first half. Tech forced them to turn the ball over a hell of a lot, and honestly it was the reason that you were in the game for as long as you were
-Warren Washington was really strong today, was able to provide some semblance of offensive production on that end.
-Joe Toussaint struggled on offense with a pretty clear lack of calls when he drove it low. Tech got zero help in that regard to be blunt, at least until the final possession.
-This game exposed your biggest flaw for the first time which is your lack of depth. K-State pushed you hard and this team was gassed.
