Big 12 schedule question

Sorry if this has been discussed or answered and I missed it.

Why does it appear some teams (Baylor, Utah and Arizona as examples) are playing 10 Big 12 teams in 2024 while most others only are playing 9?
Am I seeing that correctly? I saw one article say some games won't count as Big 12 games. Seems odd.
