Coach Beard and Texas Tech basketball have added their first commit for the 2018 class in 6'5" South Plains college guard Deshawn Corprew.

Corprew originally signed with A&M out of high school but was declared academically ineligible.
He'll have three years to play three.
It's worth noting that because he's a 2018 commit, he won't count against the scholly limit until next year when Gray, Smith, Stevenson, Hamilton and Evans are all gone.
