It has become crystal clear to me that visiting this message board has not been a positive experience for many members of our community in recent months. We have heard a lot of feedback over this period, public and private, which has caused us to reassess how everything around here is run.

Beginning today we are implementing some new rules in order to address the overwhelming feedback we have received:

No personal attacks. There’s no need to go after someone on a message board. We all don't have to like each other or agree but avoid the personal attacks. There’s no need for that here.

No more beating a dead horse. Feel free to create a topic, but if there is another topic on the same subject your thread will be deleted, merged, moved or locked at the moderators’ discretion. If a thread goes on and on and the same argument is being had over and over by a small number of people, then we will move the conversation to the EEF – where it can be continued off of the main forum.

Stay on topic. If you choose to comment in a thread, please keep your discussion limited to the main topic at hand.

No alternate or secondary accounts. This has consistently been brought up in feedback and, unfortunately, this has become more of an issue in the last two weeks as we have seen multiple subscribers sign up (and in a few cases post) under an alternate username. While we appreciate the additional financial support, especially so during times like these, this has clearly negatively affected the message board experience and the health of our community is our No. 1 priority. The system will deactivate any double accounts by the end of the week. The newest accounts will be deactivated, and any remaining subscription time will be transferred to the original accounts. If you want to keep the second account instead, please cancel your original account immediately.

No doxxing. You will be subject to an immediate blacklist if you share information about a fellow subscriber that he or she has not already shared themselves on RRS.

Repeat violators of these rules or attempts to circumvent any these policies will result in moderation action, up to and including permanent account termination.

I hate having to add more rules to this place but we've heard from a lot of you and we owe it to you to turn your feedback into action.

Our full staff is committed to these policies, but we need your help. For as much as we are on the board, we cannot read every post or keep up with every thread. If you see something that you feel violates any of our board rules, please utilize our Report features to bring it directly to our attention.

Finally, at the end of the day, RRS is a private business and your participation in this community is subject to the Rivals.com Terms of Service. I have quoted a relevant portion from the Terms of Service below:

The accepted standards of conduct in these communities, as well as our other message board communities, are determined by the publishing partner of any given site. Subscribers and registered users agree that Rivals and its publishing partners have the right to enforce these standards, including deletion of posts, blacklisting/banning users, or removing access to premium message boards with no refund to the Subscriber.

Please reach out to me or anyone on the staff if you have questions about anything we've stated above. We appreciate all of you.
