I came back from Boston and headed straight to Spring Break with the family so I am just now catching up with RRS.
One of the coolest parts of the experience in Boston was on Sunday afternoon at our game versus Villanova. They were taking random shots from around the arena and posting them on the Jumbotron scoreboard. There was an entire section of WVU fans decked out in all of their WVU gear who stayed in town to watch the east regional championship game. When the camera panned their section they all threw up the Guns Up hand-sign.
I also sat next two several WVU fans at lunch on Friday in Boston and they came up to our table and Introduced themselves and said that they were pulling for the Red Raiders over Purdue. I told them that we were pulling for them to beat Villanova as well.
It was cool to see a fellow Big 12 rival pulling for us. Something that I don’t often do myself.
