Couldn't find a similar thread about this, figured I'd open it up to the board. What are some of the best/ideal work-remote destinations?
Instead of going on a traditional vacation next year, my wife and I are looking to work remote for 4-8 weeks somewhere outside of Texas. Would love to get some recs.
Looking for somewhere...
1. Roughly equal to / less expensive than Dallas (Not trying to break the bank for a month in Telluride or NYC).
2. That offers something "different" culturally, climate-wise, etc. (No to Kansas City or Tulsa, lol)
3. Down to stay in the US or go abroad, but will need to be able to work US Time Zones. Europe is the dream but working late afternoons & evenings would be rough.
We had penciled in Buenos Aires, but it seems like they're about to melt down financially. Also tossing around the idea of Mexico City, but not sure how safe it is. Pacific Northwest seems cool but costly.
