Wife's Wedding Ring Stuck

Hey guys, the wife's wedding ring got stuck on her finger last night and her finger is swollen. She has tried everything (windex, lotion, floss) and it looks like we are going to have to get it cut off. Has anyone ever had experience with this? Will the ring be ruined? Any help appreciated
