Just wanted to give yall an update on my son, Whit. Today he turns 9 years old. 5.5 years ago I came to yall and asked for prayers for him as he was sick but we didn't know what was wrong and we were headed to a specialist at Cook Childrens in FW. He was first diagnosed with polycistic kidney disorder and I was told he probably would not live until he was 10. We were high 5ing the doctors two weeks later when they confirmed he "only" had cancer. 3.5 years of Chemo and he beat the Leukemia that tried to take my boy from me. He has had all clear check ups since he has finished treatment, but we know it could come back at anytime so we live life to the fullest and appreciate every moment we have together. I hope you do the same with your kids. My wife and I would like to thank everyone on here that prayed for our boy. We felt your prayers. Guns up! oh and if anyone knows Dylan Dusek my son would love to meet him as they share two common bonds as Whit cannot play enough baseball. cheers #rule1followed
