Specifically, the eastern edge? I never thought about this until today.
Looking at a map, I'd define it as anything west of US-281 AND north of I-20...until about Eastland, then I'd draw a straight line from there down to Ballinger, and from Ballinger to Sonora.
And this begs another question...colloquially speaking, do you consider Lubbock a part of West Texas or the Panhandle/High Plains?
