Was watching ESPN late last night and caught a story about the Cal QB and his "Heisman status"... and basically just all the stats he was throwing up there etc... It got me wondering.....
For a decade+ TTU QB's were labeled and discounted repeatedly in CFB and the pros and simply called "system QB's".... But in 2015 i seem to have heard that term less and less...
Even though Cal, TCU, Baylor, OU all have QB's that are coached by or OC'd by a former TTU coach of the same system that got so much crap from the CFB/NFL world....... and they are all claiming to have "Hiesman QB's"..... ???
Is it just because so many in CFB are running the "system" that the haters have given up? Or is it because of the logo next to the name?
