Sucks the govt had to pull the plug but what an odd freaking twist to say it was socialized medicine as the reason. God given right to "Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness" is argued in the face of socialized medicine. Okay, I am wholly against single payer but I'll be damned if this is the argument. God obviously didn't plan on this kid living and socialized medicine is likely the only reason the kid has lived this long. All the medical treatment was man made rights, not bestowed by God. If you gotta problem with the govt giving up on funding then pull out that checkbook. At the end of the day, society gets to choose what they want to pay for just as harshly as an individual decision. And at the end of the day, if the kid lives or dies it will be God's will, not the man made machine's.
