Today while driving north on I-55 from New Orleans to Roseland, traffic came to a complete standstill. We were sitting there for a good 35 mins. I turn on the radio to see if there’s any reports.
A guy was trying to jump of the bridge and kill himself and apparently got really close. I counted 10 cop cars once a lane opened and we’re able to pass.
Later, on some little shitty road by Donaldsville, traffic was again at a stand still. This time, a funeral procession was stopping traffic. Apparently as a result of taking a left turn too fast, the coffin fell out of the hurst and was lying on its side in the middle of the road. I’ve never seen such a shit show.
Anyway, cool story. Just felt like sharing as I enjoy a beer in the Marriott M Club lounge. Keep Austin weird? Keep Louisiana wheels off.
