Following the Red Raiders' 43-28 win over Kansas tonight, Tyler Shough, Tahj Brooks, Kosi Eldridge, and Jesiah Pierre recapped their performances on the field and the team's outlook moving forward to Iowa State.

- Shough was grateful to be back on the field and have another shot to lead the Red Raiders at home...
"I felt great. This whole week I started feeling myself again, mentally and physically it felt really good to just put everything together."

- Shough gave tons of credit to running back room for the Red Raiders' success tonight.
"We have probably the best running back room in the whole nation, just because of how talented they are and how smart they are."

- Shough expressed his gratitude for being able to start and finish a complete game for the first time in a while.
"I knew I was going to get an opportunity regardless...I have so much confidence in my teammates and they give me confidence to go out there."

- Tahj followed by echoing Shough's thoughts on the running back room. On what they do best...
"Obviously our expertise in making explosive plays. We go out there are try to get explosive plays and try to score touchdowns."

On the Red Raiders' mindset going into next weekend...
Shough - "Whats next? This week doesn't matter going forward. We still have two more regular season games. Next is Iowa State and they're the best defense in the conference right now, but we welcome the challenge and we want to step up to the plate."

Kosi Eldridge and Jesiah Pierre spoke next.

- Pierre stressed that despite the defense struggling at times today, they bent and didn't break.
"We always preach about what's next and being a brand every single day. All the players and coaches know that we're playing to win."

- Pierre on the late strip sack...
"It was really no special call. It was just just people doing their job. Yeah, we had our struggles, but we did not break. We just came together and executed our job."

- Eldridge laughed and said that that was his first interception since his senior year of high school.
"To be completely honest, I didn't think he was going to throw it. I was actually shocked when he threw it. I saw the ball in the air and saw that it was in my reach."

- Eldridge was extremely impressed to see Pierre's development and how it paid off today on the field.

- Pierre on his performance...
"It's just really focusing on the craft, listening to what coach is saying, and being consistent. My preparation - there's really no magic to it. It's just having that faith and keep working hard at all times. Just to keep working and working and saying that 'what's next' mentality. Really buying into the program, what the coaches are trying to bring, and trying to bring that to Texas Tech University."

-Eldridge describes Wilson's injury as "a big loss" to the Red Raiders, but they have to focus on the next man up mentality.
