I'm still getting used to this AL West stuff, but what happened to the Rangers?
That used to be one of the deepest, youngest programs in MLB and now I'm seeing guys like Carlos Peguero, Adam Rosales and Wandy Rodriguez on the 25 man roster. Not to mention Delino Deshields who the Astros didn't even want on their AAA roster because he is such a cancer.
What has happened to all the depth with live arms and bats galore? I've never put much thought into medical staffs until Bill Simmons was talking about how good the Phoenix Suns' staff is and how snakebitten the OKC Thunder staff is. Is there something going on with all these injuries or is it just freak occurrences one after another?
And when the hell is Jorge Alfaro coming up? Feels like I've been hearing this kid is going to be the next Pudge for a decade now.
