I was discussing with a buddy the other day how I am still struggling to find a church in the Dallas area. We absolutely loved and had the perfect fit with out church in OKC(Crossings) which makes it even harder to find a good one when comparing.
Anyways, got me thinking what does everyone look for when choosing a church?
For me I prefer a church that has a more contemporary service offered with music. I just can't do suits and snoring as it's not my style of worship. The sermon needs to be strong and not politically charged. Yes, it will slip in to a sermon but I don't want a sermon condemning any people, being told who to vote for, you get the idea. And I also don't want a church that changes its beliefs based on what's trending on twitter. As for amenities I really enjoy strong Sunday school choices and community/small groups.
What do y'all look for?
