I've been on the board for a while, formerly TBead2 and a picture of Jack Kerouac at Columbia as my avatar, but this is my first post as @Staff.
I've been a high school coach and English teacher for nearly a decade. A couple years in West Texas, a few more in DFW, and I was an offensive coordinator outside of Bryan/College Station the past three years. I've coached nearly every sport and nearly every position in that time, but I'm mostly a football and basketball guy.
Recently I decided to move back to Lubbock and get my PhD in Education at Tech. I figured this would be a good way to scratch that sports itch as opposed to quitting cold turkey.
Also, I'm @W. McKay 's brother in law. Maybe that'll give me cred around here... or not.
