Lots of talk around the similarities have been discussed but one thing I noticed that Wells has not done that I think Beard did well was give the previous staff credit where credit is due. Beard mentioned Tubby's efforts on day one in the first press conference he ever had and multiple times thereafter. Hell, he was thanking the original team he inherited after making the Elite Eight. I can't recall one time where Coach Wells has mentioned some of the things the previous staff did right: Brought in high character players, talented skill players, strong classroom performances, etc. I can understand if there isn't respect warranted but I think something should be said in certain cases.
