Alright, I was born and raised in Midland and have been back about 4 years now. I even remember when they actually built the Loop here in Midland, but I have kind of a weird question I don't know that answer too.
If you're West bound on the access road, right before Midkiff - literally opposite the turn in for Discount Tire and Big Lots, there is this small concrete pedestal with what looks to be a small metal sculpture mounted on in. Does anyone have any idea what it is or why it is there?
If it is a sculpture, its a really weird place to put it, but because 1) it's small and 2) no one can walk up and look at it as it is between the access road on the Loop itself.
Assuming my computer hacking skills are up-to-date this should be a link where you can see it on Google Street View.
