This time, the goal is convening a U.S. constitutional convention to overhaul what proponents call a moldy national blueprint out of step with life in California.
I am convinced that a constitutional convention is the ONLY way to correct what ails the U.S. for reasons such as term limits and overboard lobbying, things politicians will never correct without pressure from somewhere.
Liberal causes would take a huge hit if California was no longer a part of the US. A major secondary reason for wanting a constitutional convention. The progressive, liberal Democratic party would no longer be a national party.
