Kansas women's basketball fired Bonnie Henrickson just after the Big 12 tournament. Reports are now that KU will hire Brandon Schneider as their new wbb head coach.
Brandon Schneider was my pick to replace Kristy Curry. So this is not great news to me.
Schneider had two Lady Raider staff members on his staff previously either at Div II Emporia State (KS) where he won a national championship or at Stephen F Austin or both. Lady Raider assistant and key recruiter Damitria Buchanan was an assistant on Schneider's staff at SFA. Kiel Unruh, the video coordinator for the LRs, was also on Schneider's staff at both schools. Unruh is a Kansas native and graduated from Emporia State.
Notice that Brandon never hired his brother to be on his staff...
