A group of us from work have been playing in a 7X7 Sunday rec soccer league for a few seasons now but are looking to change up the roster moving forward. We have a decent mix of ok experienced soccer players, and some guys like me that had never played the sport competitively prior to joining the league (ages 20-40). We're a middling team in the lowest division who is there to have fun and be competitive with the teams in our league.
Our biggest problem is finding people that can/will consistently show up. So, we find ourselves with a huge roster of half committed people. We're trying to move forward with a 5-6 person core group and add 5-6 more that can be more consistent.
The next season starts Sept. 10 so if you've got any soccer experience and/or are wanting to scratch that competitive itch, let me know. If you've got a buddy or two to bring along, even better.
