So far Duffey has made his best plays with his feet. He has been very elusive with several drive extending runs including a nice touchdown run. In addition to be slippery and showing speed, he has also shown some nice power at the end of his runs. He should probably learn to get down or out of bounds more often but overall there's a lot to like about him on the run.
Throwing the football he's been a little shakier. Don't get me wrong he throws a nice tight spiral and has put some velocity on the ball. However, he has held onto the ball a little long at times and he has tried to force the ball into some places he shouldn't. He did have the nice 45-yard TD to start things off. He is now 5 of 10 for 68 yards.
Overall it has been a solid performance and Lake Ridge holds a decisive 17-0 halftime lead.
