We have learned from connected sources in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex that Texas Tech quarterback Alan Bowman is expected to announce sometime this weekend, perhaps as early as tomorrow, that he will be leaving the Red Raider football program and entering the NCAA Transfer Portal.
Bowman, from what we have gathered over the last day, has attended classes at Texas Tech this week and is expected to remain enrolled through the spring semester. This will allow him to finish his degree and operate as a graduate transfer.
This should not come as a huge surprise to Texas Tech fans as Bowman was quick to follow multiple FBS coaches on Twitter following the conclusion of the 2020 football season.
