Interesting article about Natural Gas Prices and that Comstock is worth 2.7 Billion in stock value over the 1.1 Billion Jones had to put into it. I know it lost money for 3 years when gas prices were low and stock was about 6 to 8 per share. It is 14.51 today but recently was up to 22. What surprised me is that is said Jones still owns 500 wells that are still producing from the 70's. I know enough about the oil business for this to be surprising to me. Usually on any well the production goes down. Some of you oil guys may know more than me about this. Also I knew the CFO for the Cowboys when he was in the same Church with me in Coppell. He had been with the Jones Family before when they were in the oil business and started out in oil and gas accounting. 500 wells still going from the 70's would seem like a reach for me.
