Most of you may not know that the Villages of Florida is a huge retirement community in north east Florida. Probably the largest of its kind in the US made up of a series of villages with golf and lots of outdoor activities. When I say large the zip code for them contains around 129,000 people.
They currently have zero cases of the corona .
Florida has done everything right focused on the most vulnerable and encouraged outdoor activities with common sense. Oh and all those selfish young beach goers, not a blip on the radar as far as cases. The media went nuts about Florida's approach.
NY on the other hand chose the draconian stay at home method and the Governor this week was shocked to find that 66% of the cases were people who had stayed at home and not gone out. So while they sent sick elderly bak into gen pop of nursing homes, Florida did the opposite.
