Some very fine people, as I am 100% certain Donald Trump would call them, attacked a man and was about to lynch him. They attacked him, held him hostage, and if not for the bystanders who intervened, there is no telling what was about to happen. The victim said he heard one of them yell for a noose.
To top it all off, one of these fine people, just like in Charlottesville, drove a car into a crowd and hit a person rallying in support of the victim.
Why do I bring this up? Because our Confederate flag rallying President will not say a damn thing to condemn this man getting attacked until his people FORCE him to say it was wrong. He will offer a tepid rebuke and then backtrack on it within hours. Because it is 2020 and that's how he has to behave.
