Vegas for March madness

I am already going to be in Vegas this week for work and now considering staying an extra day to experience march madness in Vegas on Friday. I have never been the first weekend.

What do I need to know? Do I need to buy a seat somewhere like I have seen online or can I find a spot at a sports book to watch the games?
