I have about 10 Days this month for a family trip. Thinking about loading up the family truckster and hitting the road for a Rocky Mountain vacation in the Durango, Colorado area. We're driving up from Houston, hoping to spend a half day or so in Lubbock on the way up to have the kids tour Texas Tech, etc.
Looking for recommendations, route, site seeing, lodging, etc. What are some of the must-see things along the way? Appreciate the recommendations.
