US Restaurants to Go More European?

This NY restaurant owner is increasing prices and eliminating tips, making service fees included. The main idea is that hospitality is provided by the entire staff, not just the waitperson. He wants to compensate the cooks and other staff higher with the increased prices. I expect this will catch on more in the US over the next decade.

Maybe even at Sonic. :)
