I usually don't post about social issues, but wanted to pass this along incase it can help others. Not too long ago, Midland decided that the name Lee High was inappropriate. After a committee was formed and several names were debated they have finally come up with a brand new, more inclusive name for the high school. The former Lee High will now be known as L.E.E. High. Who knew, right? All it took was a 3 dots.
No word yet on if they will continue to be the L.E.E. Rebels or if the mascot will be changed too.
