As @C. Champlin reported, North Carolina guard Kerwin Walton will take his official visit to Texas Tech this weekend. The other schools in the mix here are Kansas State, Oklahoma, Memphis and Clemson.
Walton will not be the only portal target to be in Lubbock this weekend though.
Campbell wing Cedric Henderson Jr. will officially visit, too. Henderson Jr is a new name for most Tech fans. He's listed at 6-foot-6, 190 pounds. He has started 86 career games at Campbell in three seasons, and was named to the 2020/21 All-Big South 2nd team.
Henderson Jr. is coming off his junior year where he averaged 14 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.0 steals per night. He shot 49.8% from the field, 38% from deep (on 100 attempts) and 65.2% from the line (though he is a career 73.4% FT shooter).
