Does anyone know why Michael Davis starts over Bryant Burleson? Davis is hitting under .250 while Burleson is a senior with experience and would be a plus bat in the lineup. After I saw him pinch hit yesterday and end up with an RBI double, I remembered how many doubles he had last year. Looked it up and he was tied with Kirsch for the most doubles In the Big 12 and hit .272 on the year. I don't understand how Davis, a freshman, is starting over Burleson With below average hitting and average fielding. Is he in the doghouse or what? We need that bat.
