Looking over the weekly conference release and there is some good stuff in there, all stats will be for active Big 12 players.

5 head coaches have a winning record in Big 12 play: Tadlock (32-31), Augie Garrido (308-190-1), Steve Smith (Baylor 290-266), Josh Holliday (OSU 41-21), Jim Schlossnagle (TCU 37-25).

Tech has won 6 weekly Big 12 honors with Gute, Raley and Carpenter each with one, and Cam Smith with 3. OU and OSU also have 6 weekly awards with OU's Kolbey Carpenter having 3 of them, all being POW and OSU's Michael Freemen having 3 pitcher of the week awards.

As far as pitching goes, Preston Morrison (TCU) leads all Big 12 players with 24 total wins and Alex Young (TCU) in 5th at 15; Tech does not have anyone crack the top 5.

ERA: TCU has three players in the top 5, with Morrison (1.49), Trey Teakell (1.71) and Young (2.22). Dylan Dusek is 3rd in the league with a 2.15. Requirement for this category is minimum of 100 IP.

Saves: TCU also leads this category with Riley Ferrell at 28 career saves, with Moreno being 4th on the active list with 9.

Tech does not have anyone crack the top 5 for appearances or IP, while Travis Duke (UT) has 74 appearances to lead active players and Parker French (UT) with 304.1 IP.

Morrison has the most complete games at 8, C. Smith for Tech is tied for 3rd with 7 other players at 2.

Hitting (all career averages):
Michael Tinsley (KU) leads all acitve players with a .354 average. Tyler Neslony is in 4th with a .316 BA.

On base percentage sees two Raiders crack the top five, with Stephen Smith leading all players at a .431 and Gutierrez 4th at .411.

Tech also has two players in the top 5 for slugging percentage in Neslony and Eric Gutierrez at .495 (tied with Tinsley (KU)) and Gutierrez hot on their heels in 4th with a .483

Despite only playing in 27 games this season, Bryan Burleson still comes in 3rd for most games played for active players at 194. If Burleson would have played in all of Tech's games this year, he would have 208 GP and would be leading the Big 12 in front of current leader Brooks Marlow (UT) at 206. Burleson also still sits in 2nd with total at bats of 667 behind UT's Marlow of 757.

Tech does not have anyone that cracks the top 5 in hits or runs, with Craig Aikin (OU) at 212 hits and Cody Jones (TCU) at 130 runs to lead the league.

Tech has 3 of the top 5 RBI producers in the league, with Gutierrez having 120 to pace the league, with Tim Proudfoot and Burleson holding down spots four and five with 96 and 93 respectively.

Burleson also leads the league still with 46 doubles and Gutierrez is second with 40.

Gutierrez leads the league with 21 total home runs, with KU's Connor McKay at 20 behind him.

Gutierrez is in second place with 279 total bases, behind leader McKay (KU) at 283.

Gutierrez is in fifth place at 80 walks for his career, while Justin Protacio leads the conference with 108. Also, Stephen Smith has 72 walks, while only playing in 89 total games compared to Protacio's 179 and Gutierrez's 163 GP.

Gutierrez currently has a 14 game hitting streak and Neslony had an 11 game hit streak at one point this season.

Gutierrez has 12 mutli hit games this year with Neslony at 11.

Gutierrez has reached base safely in 17 consecutive games.
