Trump can't help himself. He tweets today that he's cancelling his trip to England in protest. It seems they wanted him to dedicate the new US embassy. So he goes off on Obama's decision to waste millions building the new one when the old one was fine. Says It was a huge waste of time and money. If he didn't lie so much they might have taken him at his word. However, they found the ambassador whose made the commitment during the "Bush" administration. He said it was a security issue and by selling the old building and property they were able to do it at not additional cost to taxpayers. It's both safer and closer to Parliament. Further, the reason to cancel the trip had nothing,to do with the building. They don't want him to come and he knew he'd have a public relations disaster with huge protests.
Then Trump tweets a denial about what was reported from the meeting, particularly the Haiti reference. Except, multiple attendees, even a Republican, confirmed he not only said it, but used the term multiple times. It is impossible for the man not to lie. Yet he rants on about other people and the fake news. This was almost as good as a couple of months ago when he tried to backtrack and say it wasn't his voice on the bus tape.
And his gullible base still swears he tells the truth. Great to see the respect our biggest ally in the world has for him.
