Wanted to update a thread that @4O9to8O6Nback started in early April and @B. Golan expanded on in mid April. The coaching staff has now been rounded out with Talvin Hester and more targets are coming too light. Here are the players we feel comfortable posting about that have been contacted by the basketball program...
Guards:
Marcus Bagley FR (Arizona State) - 6'8" , 215 lbs. 10.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game last season
Brandon Mahan SR (UCF) - 6'5" , 200 lbs. 12.3 points and 5 rebounds per game last season. Shot 43% from deep last season and averaged over a steal per game.
Desi Sills JR (Arkansas) - 7.5 points and 2.7 rebounds per game last season. In three seasons, he has shot 35.4% from deep and averaged a steal per game.
Bigs:
Bryson Williams SR (UTEP) - 6’8”, 228 lbs. 15.1 points and 7.4 rebounds per game last season. Has posted on social media about conducting a zoom call with Texas Tech.
Tyler Stevenson JR (Southern Miss) - 6'8" 225 lbs. 14.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game last season. Was followed recently on twitter by Hester
Mouhamadou Gueye SR (Stoney Brook) - 6'9" 210 lbs. 9.7 points and 7.1 rebounds per game last season. He also has been contacted by Penn state, Boston College, Pitt, Texas Tech, SMU, DePaul and Indiana State.
