Both of the writers above had Toppin as 3rd team all-American. That’s a pretty good look for Toppin who, when healthy, has proven to be a huge challenge for a lot of teams.

If he can manage this award by year’s end, it bodes well for Grant’s recruiting pitch. He’s already stated that one of the things they sell is improving stats across the board…taking a talented MW guy to all-American would be a good look. Especially if it helps close the deal on the next batch of high profile transfers.
