Ive been of the opinion that the lack of defensive offers is because Gibbs/Kliff want to see how this year plays out before deciding how they want to proceed on that side of the ball.
They both know they don't have the time to develop high school kids and now that it looks like that side of the ball hasn't taken any significant step forward, the only immediate fix is going the juco route.
I hope this isn't how it plays out but the current state of the program has all the signs of a juco heavy defensive class.
