Why you have to get better players up front and at receiver.

Texas came into this game out for blood, frothing at the mouth and finally playing to their maximum potential.

That materialized more than anything with how UT mauled the OL up front and the receivers couldn’t get a feather’s worth of separation.

Tahj was good enough that it didn’t matter against lesser talented opponents, but the playcalling almost didn’t matter tonight. Behren was running for his life, the receivers made zero plays and couldn’t get open, and we couldn’t get anything going on the ground more than Tahj making something out of nothing.

I’m super frustrated like most here, but this is a talent problem far and away above anything else. If you can’t see that with your eyeballs, I don’t know what to tell you.

The X’s and O’s Weren’t going to get you within striking distance tonight, and UT played with so much effort and passion that they made it even more of an insurmountable hill.

The development of Nick Fattig, Kaden Carr, DJ Crest, CJ West, Micah Hudson, and others cant come fast enough.
