I hate to be "that old guy bitchin'" but......seriously......the football attendance experience is a disaster. I pay crazy money per seat to attend our games. Trouble is that we arrive a couple of hours early, to hang with our good friends at our tailgate, then we have around four hours or so of football, before having to wait another hour or so to get out of the parking lot.
The thing is that there is only 60 minutes of actual football. Three of every four minutes of the game is devoted to commercial breaks, time outs, reviews or whatever.
Are you kidding me?
Seriously?
It is a freaking mess. The experience is not near what it used to be. We want to support our Raiders, but it is a slow, slow game that needs to be revitalized.
If I was the commissioner of the NCAA, I would require games to be played in no longer than 3 1/2 hours.
For those of you who are golfers, think about the dreaded 5 hour rounds of golf. That's what we are talking about here and it is time to take a stand.
Ridiculous......
